Michael Ryan Mohan’s artistic practice is deeply rooted in the people, landscapes and collective memory of New Brunswick. Working at the intersection of cinema and still photography, he explores how identity is shaped by the spaces we inhabit and the histories we leave behind. Mohan captures the unique, often overlooked textures of small town Canada, inviting viewers to slow down and find an expansive, quiet romance in the familiar environments of home.
